Our mission

Odyssey Toys exists because we believe fantasy should feel as good as it looks.

We're driven by a genuine love of creativity, art, and the obsessive need to make things that are both beautiful and actually pleasurable to use. Every creature we release is designed with real intention, not just to look striking on a shelf, but to work exactly the way it should when it matters.

We're backed by over 10 years of platinum silicone manufacturing experience through our sister company Godemiche, with more than 77,000 handmade toys poured across both brands, one of the UK's most established independent adult toy makers. That expertise lives in everything we do.

The lore, the names, the worlds we build, that's all part of it. We tell stories through the things we make, and we're glad you're here to begin your own.

How a creature is born

Nothing here comes from a factory. Every Odyssey toy starts as an idea, a myth, a creature, a moment from a story we want to tell.

That idea becomes a mood board. The mood board becomes sketches. The sketches go into ZBrush, where we digitally sculpt every detail by hand, every texture, every curve, every ridge designed with purpose.

Each sculpt is scrutinised against our design brief before it moves forward. Because looking extraordinary isn't enough. It has to feel extraordinary.

From ZBrush, the design is programmed into our industrial resin 3D printers, capable of printing at 0.05mm accuracy. The result is a master that's a perfect physical representation of the digital sculpt, which is then cleaned, sanded and finished by hand until every surface is exactly right.

That master goes to moulding. We create a negative, and from that negative we pour our liquid platinum-cured silicone, mixed to your exact colour specification, to cast the finished creature.

The silicone

We don't cut corners on materials. We use platinum-cured silicone exclusively from industry-leading manufacturers — including Smooth-On's Dragon Skin and Eco-Flex ranges and Platsil by Polytek. These are the same materials used by professional special effects studios and medical device manufacturers worldwide and are independently certified to ISO 10993-10 for safe skin and body contact.

That means:

Non-porous — won't harbour bacteria if cleaned properly
Hypoallergenic — free from latex, phthalates and harmful chemicals
Boilable — can be fully sanitised between uses
Cosmetic-grade colour pigments — vivid, safe and built to last

The specific silicone we use varies by firmness, each product line has different properties that make it the right choice for a particular shore hardness. What doesn't change is the standard.

Firmness guide

Each creature can be cast in up to four firmnesses. This is personal, but here's what to expect:

Medium (Shore 10A) — Firm with minimal squish. Stands alone. Easier to insert. Texture feels more intense.

Soft (Shore 00.50) — Our most popular. Good squish, moves with the body nicely. Less intense stimulation, easy to work with. The choice of most indie fantasy toy fans.

Extra soft (Shore 00.30) — Maximum squish. Best for highly textured or longer toys, far more forgiving and compresses easily with the body. Won't stand alone, but it doesn't need to.

Squishy soft (Shore 00.20) — Our softest option. Exceptionally stretchy and pliable, it compresses with almost no resistance. Ideal for those who want the most forgiving experience possible. Not available on all products, check individual listings.
